Pilates Instructor at Performance Optimal Health

Christina Merrill is an experienced Pilates and dance instructor with a diverse background in dance education and performance. Currently serving as a Pilates Instructor at Performance Optimal Health since May 2013, Christina previously held positions as a Dance Instructor at Locust Performing Arts Center of Stamford and Next Step Broadway, where instruction included various styles such as tap, ballet, hip hop, gymnastics, jazz, and modern dance. Christina also co-led a musical theater summer camp for children, focusing on dance and craft activities. Additional experience includes teaching at Elk Grove Park District and May I Have This Dance, as well as performance with Chicago Tap Theatre and in a summer dance show for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. Christina holds a BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts and has furthered education at Northeastern Illinois University.
