Hans Wetzel

Hans Wetzel has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Sr. Director of Compliance at Performant Corp. Hans previously held roles as the Director of Healthcare Compliance and Manager of Healthcare Compliance at the same company. Before joining Performant Corp, they worked as a Senior Contributor and Senior Editor at The SoundStage! Network. Hans also served as a Senior Medicare Compliance Auditor at Independence Blue Cross. Prior to that, they held positions at Optum as an Attorney Supervisor in Regulatory Affairs and as a Regulatory Affairs Attorney. Hans gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the US Department of Health and Human Services, Cooper University Health Care, and Delaware Superior Court. Hans also worked as a Communications Assistant at the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Hans Wetzel completed their education at Widener University School of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Law - JD degree with a Health Law Certificate. Prior to that, they attended Kenyon College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in History. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained a certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) in November 2019.
