Liam Mullins

CTO and Co-Founder at Perfuze

Liam Mullins has over 18 years of work experience in the medical device industry. Liam began their career in 2001 as an Improvement Engineer for Intel Corporation. In 2002, they moved to Rotofab Ltd. as a Production Engineer. From 2003 to 2011, they worked as a Consultant R&D Engineer for Brivant Medical Ltd, Vysera Biomedical, Creganna Tactx Medical, and NUI Galway. In 2011, they were a BioInnovate Fellow for BioInnovate Ireland. From 2012 to 2016, they were CTO and Co-Founder of Embo Medical, where they developed a vascular embolization technology. In 2016, they became CTO Embo Medical for CR Bard. In 2017, they became CTO and Co-Founder of Perfuze.

Liam Mullins began their education in 1998 when they attended the University of Galway, where they earned a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering in 2002. Liam then returned to the University of Galway in 2003 to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, which they completed in 2007. In 2005, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, though it is unclear what they did there.
