Wayne Allen began their career in 2002 as Global Product Manager at Synthes Spine, where they managed the spinal implant and instrument market and product development. In 2007, they joined Vysera Biomedical Ltd as General Manager and Business Development Manager. In 2011, they were awarded a BioInnovate Fellowship at BioInnovate Ireland. In 2012, they co-founded Embo Medical, a medical device company that developed vascular embolization technology. The Caterpillar technology provided a superior solution in shorter procedural times, resulting in safe, cost-effective embolization. The company was acquired by Becton Dickinson (CR Bard). In 2017, Wayne Allen became the CEO and Co-founder of Perfuze.
Wayne Allen has completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from the University of Limerick, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Finance from the University of Phoenix, and an Executive Education - Strategy & Management program from The Wharton School.
