Emma Terho

Emma Terho is an experienced social worker with a strong background in child protection and welfare. Currently employed at Perhehoitokumppanit Suomessa Oy since October 2022, Emma has previously worked for the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) and the City of Helsinki in social worker roles, focusing on foster care and child protection. Emma's career began at the City of Tampere, where responsibilities included providing support to new clients applying for income support and making decisions on income support applications as a benefits officer. Emma holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of Tampere and has completed additional social work courses at Lund University.
