Yanir Levy

Yanir Levy is an experienced AI Data Scientist at Perimeter Medical Imaging AI since May 2021, focusing on the research and development of deep learning computer vision models for image classification, generation, and processing in the medical industry. Previously, Yanir served as an Associate Data Analyst supporting data and image analysis for a novel medical imaging device and collaborated with diverse teams throughout product development stages. Yanir's early career includes a role as a Graduate Engineering Research Assistant at Western University, where projects involved improving mechanical testing processes for hockey helmets to reduce brain injuries. Internships at IMAX and Inkas Vehicles provided valuable experience in mechanical engineering, including development of manufacturing procedures and enhancing production efficiency. Yanir holds a Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western University.
