Sarah Ali

Sarah Ali currently serves as a Research Intern at the UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine, where contributions focus on in-vitro/in-vivo investigations related to molecular modifications in major depressive disorder, under Dr. Yogesh Dwivedi in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobiology. Additionally, Sarah holds the position of Representative for the Southeast Region Aga Khan Education Board, leading various educational programs to empower middle and high school students in their academic pursuits. Sarah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience as part of the University Honors Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with an expected graduation in 2025, following the completion of a High School Diploma from Hoover High School in 2021.
