Yosi Botzer

Yosi Botzer is the current CTO at Perion. Yosi was previously the Cloud Architect at Sitaro from January 2017 to December 2018. There, they designed and implemented a cloud-based solution on top of AWS that handled ingestion and manipulation of cyber related data. The solution was built using AWS services such as Kinesis, Firehose, S3, and Spark on EMR. Yosi also designed and implemented the Java based back-end system that supported the mobile app and web-based dashboards.

Before Sitaro, Botzer worked as the Chief Data Officer at Winners Club from January 2015 to December 2017. Yosi was responsible for all aspects related to data and BI at Winners-Club. During their time there, they designed and implemented (hands-on) a data flow solution on top of Kafka, Camus, HDFS, HBase, Spark, Hive, and Impala. The online component was built using Spring Boot and HBase. This solution supports several social slots games and is used for producing reports, online counters, and calculating segments in order to optimize user experience and marking campaigns.

Botzer's previous positions include Big Data Architect at Datorama (acquired by Salesforce) from January 2012 to December 2015 and R&D Director at Amobee (acquired by SingTel) from January 2007 to December 2012.

Yosi Botzer graduated from the University of Haifa with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Philosophy. Yosi then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, specializing in Finance and Accounting.

Yosi Botzer reports to Doron Gerstel, CEO. They work with Tal Jacobson - General Manager, CodeFuel, Dan Mano - General Manager, Smilebox, and Eliran Ben Yehuda - General Manager, CIQ.
