Rose J. Canas

Rose J. Canas, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to finance and accounting. Starting in 2004, they began their career as an Audit Staff at Moss Adams, where they gained valuable experience in auditing. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Audit Senior at Good Swartz Brown & Berns LLP.

Continuing their career progression, Rose joined Bernards in 2008 as an Assistant Controller. During their tenure at Bernards, they contributed to the company's financial operations for a decade, showcasing their dedication and expertise in the field.

In 2018, Rose transitioned to Periscope Holdings, assuming the role of Controller. As the Controller of a private equity-owned SaaS software company, they managed all aspects of accounting operations, ensured timely month-end closings, and coordinated with external accountants for the preparation of corporate tax returns. Additionally, they prepared and published monthly financial reports.

In 2020, Rose joined American Campus Communities as the Director of Corporate Accounting, where they contributed to the company's financial management and accounting processes.

Currently, Rose holds the position of Senior Director of Finance at Periscope Holdings, starting in December 2021. With their extensive background and expertise in finance and accounting, Rose has consistently demonstrated their commitment to ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to the success of the organizations they work for.
