Zach Bogart has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Research Intern and Learning Assistant at Boston University. In 2013, they worked as a Lab Assistant at Boston University Image and Video Computing Group. In 2018, they worked as a Curriculum Development Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they wrote resource content and created custom data visualization examples/tutorials/walkthroughs. In 2019, they worked as a Strategic Data Designer at Periscopic and as a Freelance Project Manager at Fractl, where they created a visualization campaign on millennial families moving to new cities, developed visualization direction, created multiple assets to establish a story, and scraped/analyzed third-party data to create visuals (Python, R, Tableau).

Zach Bogart received a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from Boston University in 2015, after studying there from 2011 to 2015. Zach also completed a Computer Science Minor at The University of Auckland in 2015. In 2017, they began a Master's Degree in Data Science at Columbia University, which they completed in 2019.
