Eddie Blacka

Eddie Blacka is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Director of Value Creation at PerkinElmer, Inc., since October 2023. Prior to this role, Eddie held various positions at Deloitte from November 2020 to October 2023, including Manager and Senior Consultant in Strategy & Operations. Eddie's experience also includes a stint as a FDP Summer Associate at Cigna in 2019 and extensive tenure at UPMC from June 2011 to October 2018, where responsibilities included Manager and Lead Financial Analyst roles in the Health Services Division and Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. Eddie's foundational experience began as a Financial Analyst in the Finance Management Rotation Program, designed for leadership development in finance. Eddie holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a BA in Economics and Communications from Allegheny College.
