Richard Moore

Richard Moore has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Richard started their career as a Senior Network Engineer at Realtech Systems, where they were responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure projects for various clients. Richard then moved on to General Electric (GE), where they held multiple roles such as Technical Director and Network Operations Manager. During their time at GE, they managed global networks and led various projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Richard later joined CSC as a Senior Manager, Network Operations, where they oversaw a team supporting infrastructure in multiple states. At Send Word Now, they served as a Senior Operations Manager, developing processes and managing a team responsible for monitoring services. Richard then transitioned to Versant Health as a Network Engineering Manager, where they managed a team supporting data infrastructure across multiple locations. Prior to their current role, Richard worked at Albany Medical Center as the Manager of IS Network Engineering, focusing on network support and compliance in healthcare settings. Most recently, they served as the Director of Technology Services at Ellis Medicine, leading IT strategies and managing various teams. Richard is currently retired from their role at Home ToDo.

Richard Moore obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business, Economics & Management Information Systems from SUNY Empire State College from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Adirondack Community College in 2006 and 2007, specializing in Managing Technical People and Management Fundamentals, respectively. Richard also pursued additional education, including Cobol Programming at the University of Maryland in 1982-1983, Computer Engineering at Control Data Institute in 1977-1978, and Television and Radio Repair at Columbia Technical Institute in 1976-1977. Richard has acquired various certifications such as Linux Administrator, SixSigma DMAIC, F5 Administrator, Certified Cisco Network Administrator, Certified Novell Administrator, and Emergency Medical Technician.
