Alan Murphy

Alan Murphy is a seasoned legal professional specializing in land use, development, and environmental law. Currently a Partner at Perkins Coie LLP since April 2011, Alan focuses on securing and defending land use entitlements and advising clients throughout the development application and approval processes. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel/Associate at Bingham McCutchen and as an Associate Attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, working as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard R. Clifton. Alan also served as a Research Assistant in Governance Studies at The Brookings Institution. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University.
