Karin Young

Karin Young, JD, LL.M (Tax), SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Compensation at Wilson Elser since January 2024. With extensive experience in human resources and compensation, Karin previously held roles at Perkins Coie LLP from March 2015, including HRIS and Staff Compensation Manager and Senior Manager, HRIS and Staff Compensation. Prior to that, Karin worked as a Senior Compensation Consultant at Milliman and as a Principal Consultant at Mercer, where responsibilities included designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs. Early career experiences included a position as an Associate at KPMG, focusing on compensation and benefits consulting and tax consulting. Karin holds an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, complemented by a BA in Accounting from Western Washington University.
