Carl Ordemann

Principal at Perkins Estman

With 100 million sq. ft. in new construction and interior alterations, Carl is a global leader of our workplace, mixed-use, and retail, and commercial office practice areas. In his nearly 20 years with Perkins Eastman, Carl has managed numerous high-profile projects that have shaped and grown the firm into the internationally recognized design firm it is today. Carl’s projects are distinguished for their unobtrusive, oftentimes invisible complexity—buildings that support different uses and their different delivery methods, house complicated systems, simultaneously articulate and unify disparate architectural qualities. In addition to his award-winning portfolio, Carl has contributed his expertise as a guest critic at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and in teaching roles at New York University’s Real Estate Institute and the New York Institute of Technology. An avid sailor, Carl has chartered sailing yachts around the world and has raced in numerous regattas.
