Jenny Burdzinski

Principal at Perkins Estman

Jenny’s interest in architecture for people and their communities forms a common thread through all her work. Over her seventeen years of experience, Jenny has built her skills in many areas within the architecture and design field. She began her career with Habitat for Humanity, acquiring vacant row homes to be renovated for Habitat families, and then working with the construction department — both physically and conceptually — to make them a reality. In a more traditional firm setting, she has spent time on a wide variety of project types, from retail to civic to single-family residential. At VIA—A Perkins Eastman Studio, Jenny’s role dives into building communities through civic projects, the firm’s Community Design Studio, multi-family residential, and senior-living facilities in urban settings.

Jenny is a big proponent of integrated and contextual design – integrated between disciplines and within the surrounding context so projects feel like they’ve been there all along. She appreciates how the intersection of details and building science can enhance the overall design vision.
