Claire Rutz

Claire Rutz is an experienced educator and case manager at Perkins School for the Blind since July 2018. Claire has a strong background in the medical field, having worked as a research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where responsibilities included setting up polysomnograms and ensuring study processes ran smoothly. Additionally, Claire participated in a medical brigade in Honduras, providing triage and support in a clinical setting. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Special Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Northeastern University. Relevant coursework includes Biological Psychology, Sensation and Perception, and Developmental Psychology. Claire has also served as a lifeguard and held various positions in healthcare and education, building a diverse skill set.
