Deana Criess

Deana Criess is a seasoned professional in organizational development and training, currently serving as the Senior Organizational Development Specialist at Perkins School for the Blind since January 2019. With extensive experience in corporate and academic training sectors, Deana develops and delivers internal training programs to enhance staff capabilities. In addition, Deana plays a vital role as an Applied Improv Instructor and Communications Coach for the Career Launch program at Perkins, leveraging previous experience as Associate Director of Recruitment & Admissions and Consultant for the same initiative. Deana also operates Deana Criess Creative, offering services as a Creativity Specialist. Prior roles include Director of Training at ImprovBoston and various positions focused on marketing and training at HandsOnToys, WGBH, and FAO Schwarz. Deana holds a degree from Emerson College, earned between 1989 and 1993.
