Carien Maclaine Pont currently serves as a Treasury Accountant at the Permanent Court of Arbitration, a position held since April 2019. Previously, Carien worked at Seadrill, first as a Treasury Analyst from 2010 to 2013, where responsibilities included managing cash flow forecasting and daily liquidity, and later as a Treasury Controller, focusing on cash management and overseeing loan and investment portfolios. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior Business Analyst at Milk Strategy & Finance, advising small to medium-sized enterprises on financial and strategic issues. Carien holds an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) Diploma from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additional education includes a period at Turku School of Economics and secondary education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Leiden.
