Nicola O’Brien

Nicola joined the Bank in 2017 and most recently held the position of Head of Finance and Investor Relations. Prior to joining the Bank, Nicola held a number of senior roles in Bank of Ireland, including Head of Finance Group Customer Operations; Head of Group Finance Strategy, and Divisional Financial Controller for the Retail Ireland division.

Nicola is a qualified Accountant (ACMA) with over 20 years’ experience operating at a senior level within the Retail Banking sector in Ireland. Nicola brings a strong understanding of the commercial, strategic, operational, financial, and regulatory requirements of Banking. Nicola’s strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of Permanent TSB are of huge value to the Bank, particularly as they evolve the business to achieve the ambition of becoming Ireland’s best personal and small business bank.
