Scott Rankin

Scott Rankin is an accomplished financial professional currently serving as the Head of Investor Relations at PTSB since September 2024. Previously, Scott held the position of Deputy Head of the Shareholding and Financial Advisory Division at NTMA, where responsibilities included managing a team focused on Ireland's banking investments and providing financial advice to the Minister for Finance. Key achievements include leading the sale of a 5% state shareholding in PTSB, negotiating significant disposals for Bank of Ireland and AIB, and representing Ireland in critical banking negotiations in Brussels. Scott's extensive experience also includes serving at the Irish Department of Finance in various roles related to banking advisory and risk management, as well as heading financial research at Davy. Scott holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Economic Science from University College Dublin, and has completed professional programs in bank directorship and change management.
