Juan Alvarado

Juan Alvarado chairs the HSE Council for the organization and is vice president for the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality function for Chemical Technologies at ChampionX. In this role, Juan helps drive the world-class safety culture and performance across the organization and stewardship of the environment and quality management systems for our Chemical Technologies business.

He has 23 years of experience as a safety and health professional and has held a variety of positions within the Nalco Champion and Champion Technologies SH&E organizations. He joined Champion Technologies in 2005 to lead global SHE services.

Juan received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and chemistry from the University of Houston.
