Nicholaus Floyd

Nicholaus Floyd serves as Managing Counsel at ChampionX since November 2022, providing legal counsel on litigation and intellectual property matters. Prior to this role, Nicholaus spent nearly a decade at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, first as an Associate from September 2013 to November 2022 and previously as a Law Clerk from October 2012 to April 2013. Nicholaus gained valuable experience as a Summer Legal Intern at GE Oil & Gas and has a background in engineering with roles at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. Academically, Nicholaus holds a JD in Patent Law and Environmental Law from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. As a law student, Nicholaus was an active Moot Court Member, competing and mentoring peers, and contributed to the law journal's budget and website.
