Alex Francis

Alex Francis is a seasoned engineer and educator currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Permobil, focusing on wheelchair accessories to enhance user comfort and prevent pressure injuries. Concurrently, Alex holds an adjunct professor position at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, teaching a Product Realization course that emphasizes Design Thinking and collaboration with local companies. Prior experience includes roles as a Product Manager and Senior Engineer at Regal Rexnord, where Alex led innovation and played a crucial role in product lifecycle management. Additionally, Alex co-founded AlphaCore Solutions to assist startups with engineering needs and has served in various academic and advisory capacities, including at Marquette University and VasoGnosis.
