Carla Nooijen

Carla Nooijen is a Senior Researcher in Research and Development at Permobil. Carla also serves as an International Classifier Paracycling at Union Cycliste Internationale, providing volunteer work to assign para-cycling athletes the right sports class based on the impact of their disability on the sport. With a background in Rehabilitation Medicine, Carla has held various research positions at institutions such as The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, Karolinska Institutet, and Rijndam Revalidatie. Their work involves managing research projects, analyzing data, designing studies, presenting results nationally and internationally, and translating research into practical solutions.
