Pooya Sahandifar

Pooya Sahandifar is an experienced professional in the biomedical and engineering fields, currently serving as an R&D solution architect at Permobil since June 2025. Previously, Pooya held positions as a Senior Validation Engineer at Plantvision AB and a Biostatistician at Boule Diagnostics AB, focusing on performance evaluation and technical documentation for In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) products, as well as maintaining compliance with Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and FDA regulations. With a Ph.D. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Pooya has a robust background in biomechanical engineering, bolstered by previous teaching roles and experience in mechanical design and data analysis. Educational qualifications also include a Master of Science in Biomechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
