Margot Perlmutter

Margot Perlmutter is the Head of People & Workplace Operations at Perpetua. Margot previously served as Camp Director at Camp Tamakwa for fourteen years. As Camp Director, Margot was responsible for managing finances, logistics, and registrations for 450 campers and 140 staff. Margot was also the primary recruiter for new business and the first point of contact for parent relations.

During their time as Co-Director, Margot created and implemented a Health & Wellness plan which included a complete overhaul of the camp food menu and the creation of a more inclusive and open-door policy regarding employee mental health. Margot is a pioneer in healthy food initiatives and wrote and published "Camp Food Matters", a book guiding others on how to make manageable, healthy food changes in any environment.

Margot has also developed and led annual staff training sessions on camper needs, bullying, and understanding human dynamics. These sessions have fostered an open-door environment for positive mental health and well-being. Margot is a trusted adviser and mentor to the entire camp community.

Margot Perlmutter has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western University and a CEGEP from Dawson College.

Margot Perlmutter reports to Rosco Hill, CEO. Margot Perlmutter works with Kevin Michael - Head of Product, Kristie Schmuck - VP, Marketing, and David Scalise - CFO.
