Hester Schimmel

Hester Schimmel has worked in various roles since 1995. Hester started as a Croupier at Holland Casino Amsterdam in 1995. In 2005, they joined De Arbodienst as an Ergonoom and Arbeidshygiënist. Here, they were responsible for developing and giving training on safe and ergonomic work within different branches, as well as conducting research on ergonomic issues. In 2010, they joined TOP Management Consultants as a Management Consultant and Occupational Health Expert. Here, they advised and supported companies in optimizing their internal business processes in the areas of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment). In 2016, they joined Tata Steel as an HSEQ Manager Direct Sheet Plant. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Perpetual Next as Chief Risk Officer and SHEQ Manager.

Hester Schimmel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Arbeidshygiëne from Saxion University of Applied Sciences between 2006 and 2008. Hester then completed their University degree in Bewegingswetenschappen (Human Movement Science) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1998 and 2004.
