Adriana Karaboutis

Adriana Karaboutis is the Director at Perrigo. Adriana was previously the EVP Technology, Business Solutions & Corporate Affairs at Biogen from September 2014 to March 2017. Adriana was recruited from Dell based on their reputation for being able to deliver business innovation through technology and business model transformation. At Biogen, they built capabilities to deliver value across drug discovery, development and delivery processes through core information technology, digital health tech, data sciences/visualization initiatives and strong engagement with stakeholders: patient advocates, payers, providers, regulators and shareholders.

During their time at Biogen, Adriana created a culture of digital business which focused on patients and top and bottom line growth. Adriana transformed an industry that was extremely adept in science, medicine, and academics to one that partnered with digital innovators from Silicon Valley to Tel Aviv in support of personalized medicine, reduced drug development time, and stronger stakeholder collaboration.

Prior to their role at Biogen, Adriana served as Vice President & Global CIO at Dell from March 2010 to September 2014. Before Dell, they were the Executive Director, Global Manufacturing & Labor Relations Information Officer at General Motors from August 2004 to March 2010.

Adriana Karaboutis has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wayne State University. Adriana also has an Executive Leadership Program in Marketing Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Lastly, they have a Master of Science Coursework in Computer Control Systems from Wayne State University.
