Carlos Paz

Carlos Paz has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with their most recent position being Vice President of Over-The-Counter (OTC) Pharmaceuticals Research & Development at Perrigo Company plc since 2010. In this role, they led various development and manufacturing processes for generic and OTC pharmaceuticals. Prior to Perrigo, Carlos held the position of Director of R&D Process Development & Pilot Plant Operations at Impax Laboratories from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on the development and commercialization of solid oral dosage forms. From 2001 to 2008, they served as Director of Pharmaceutical Technical Services (R&D) at Teva Pharmaceuticals, overseeing technology transfers and providing technical support for marketed products. Carlos's career began at Schering-Plough Research Institute in 1988, where they held various roles and was responsible for formulation and process development of different dosage forms. Overall, Carlos Paz has a strong background in research and development within the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating leadership and expertise in a variety of areas.

Carlos Paz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Carlos is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, with 40% of the program completed. Carlos has also obtained a certification from the Bell Leadership Institute, specifically the Achievers program, in 2021.
