Joe Mathew Valavi

Joe Mathew Valavi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Joe Mathew is currently serving as the VP Global Operational Excellence at Perrigo Company plc since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vital Proteins, where they held the positions of Vice President Operations and Plant Director from 2019 to 2022. Before Vital Proteins, they worked at Mondelēz International as a Plant Director, Plant Manager, and Continuous Improvement Manager - Sub Sahara Africa from 2010 to 2019. Joe Mathew also gained valuable experience at SABMiller, where they held roles as a Packaging Development Specialist, Manufacturing Development, and Engineering Management Trainee from 2002 to 2010. Joe's early career started at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd as a Graduate Engineering Trainee from 1999 to 2000.

Joe Mathew Valavi holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, which they obtained in 2002. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at REC Calicut India.
