Sara Afonso Mendes

Sara Afonso Mendes has held various roles in their work experience. Sara started their career at IAREN- Instituto da Água da Região Norte as a Trainee in 2010. Sara then worked as a Pharmacist Trainee at Hospital Geral de Santo António, SA in 2013. Later that year, they also worked as a Pharmacist Trainee at Farmácia Cristo Rei. In 2014, they joined Sonae MC as a Pharmacist at Wells Saúde. In 2015, they joined Omega Pharma, A Perrigo Company as a Field Sales Executive. Sara then moved within the company to Perrigo Company plc, where they held roles in Customer Strategy & Implementation and Key Account Management & e-Commerce. Sara'smost recent role at Perrigo Company plc is Head of Key Account Management & e-Commerce, which they started in January 2022.

Sara Afonso Mendes completed the Applied Management Program at Nova School of Business and Economics in 2018. From 2008 to 2013, they obtained a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto. In 2014, they attended the Curso de Gestão para Farmacêuticos (Pharmaceutical Management) at CaF- Centro de Formação. In terms of additional certifications, Sara has completed various courses on LinkedIn, including Managing Innovation (2023), Key Account Management (2022), Leadership Tips, Tactics and Advice (2022), and others. Sara also completed a Financial Literacy Program at Nova School of Business and Economics in December 2023.
