Weikang Zhao

Weikang Zhao is an experienced professional in the field of nutritional product development and food safety, currently serving as R&D Manager and Principal Scientist at Perrigo Company plc since September 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing the technical aspects of Ready-to-Feed nutritional supplements and meal replacements from product development to commercialization. Prior to this role, Weikang held positions as a Product Development Scientist at Perrigo Nutritionals, and as a Product Developer at Abbott Nutrition, contributing to project management and formulation development for global markets. Earlier experience includes work as an Associate Product Development Technologist at McCormick and a QA professional at Oakrun Farm Bakery, as well as serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. Weikang Zhao holds a Master's degree in Food Safety and Quality Assurance from the University of Guelph and dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Food Engineering from South China University of Technology.
