David Ranz

David Ranz has a diverse background in emergency medical services and education. Currently serving as an EMT at Perry County Memorial Hospital since March 2022, Ranz previously worked as a biology teacher at Western High School and Waldron Jr-Sr High School, receiving notable recognition as Teacher of the Month. An experienced EMT, Ranz gained valuable skills while employed at Indianapolis EMS, where graduation as valedictorian of Academy XXV was achieved, and also served at Boone County EMS and other fire departments. Ranz holds a Transition to Teaching degree in Biology Secondary Education from Taylor University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Biology from Anderson University. Additionally, Ranz has contributed as an animal care volunteer at the Indianapolis Zoological Society and as a visual tech for a high school marching band.
