Cesar Rodriguez Carrasquillo has an extensive work experience in the fashion and lifestyle apparel industry. Cesar currently holds the position of Vice President International at Perry Ellis International, where they lead and oversees the strategic initiatives and business development efforts for the company's brand portfolio.
Prior to their current role, Carrasquillo worked at ICONIX BRAND GROUP as a Managing Director. During their tenure, they successfully developed the South American market, significantly increasing royalty revenue and sales. Cesar also established the company's first-ever Brazilian subsidiary and implemented regional brand marketing strategies for more than 35 brands.
Before ICONIX BRAND GROUP, Carrasquillo served as the General Manager at Triumph International. Cesar was recruited to turnaround the poor performance of the regional operations, resulting in the division's profitability and subsequent sale to Rosset Group. Cesar achieved this by implementing a sound sales and marketing plan and reducing expenses through strategic restructuring.
Carrasquillo also worked as the Executive Director at Grupo Cury ltda, where they successfully turned around inadequate performance by increasing revenue and improving margins. Cesar also developed a joint venture with Dorfman Pacific, opening new lucrative markets.
Additionally, Carrasquillo's work experience includes being the General Director & Country Manager at VF Corporation, where they were responsible for reversing a declining trend in one of the company's strategic regions. Cesar developed a turnaround plan that restructured operations and increased sales.
Throughout their career, Carrasquillo has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive business growth, successfully turnaround underperforming operations, and develop high-performing teams.
Cesar Rodriguez Carrasquillo has pursued higher education in the field of business administration. Cesar holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Universidad de Puerto Rico. Cesar further specialized in Marketing by obtaining an MBA in Marketing from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. In addition to their educational background, Cesar has also obtained several certifications, including Learning Personal Branding and Pricing Strategy Explained from LinkedIn. Cesar also completed a certification course on Body Language for Leaders in 2015, also from LinkedIn.
