Arno Bouwens has extensive experience in research and development, currently holding the position of R&D Director at Perseus Biomics since September 2020. Prior to this role, Arno served as an Optical Systems Engineer at LAMBDA-X S.A. and has a strong background as a Postdoctoral Researcher in various prestigious institutions, including KU Leuven and EPFL, from 2009 to 2018. Arno completed a PhD in Photonics at EPFL in 2013 and earned an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics and Photonics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2009.
