MacKenzie Guynn

MacKenzie Guynn has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Embedded Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, LLC beginning in 2023. Prior to this position, MacKenzie worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, assisting students with labs and projects related to embedded systems. In 2022, they were an Embedded Software Engineer Intern at Nuro, where they played a key role in developing and testing software for the second-generation Prius display and the third-generation robot's state machine. MacKenzie also gained experience as a Group Tutor at the Academic Skills Center at Dartmouth College in 2022. In 2022, they interned as a Software Development Intern at ClearCOGS.AI. MacKenzie's earlier experiences include being a Teaching Assistant at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in 2022, an Undergraduate Research Scholar at the Sustainable Health Lab from 2020 to 2021, and a Software Development Intern at Gyst Audio from 2020 to 2020. They also worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Northwestern Wildcat Sports Camp in 2019 and as a Summer Research Intern at the Brainvolts Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory in 2018.

MacKenzie Guynn began their education at the Latin School of Chicago, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 2015 to 2019. After graduating, they attended Dartmouth College from 2019 to 2023, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. In 2021, they also spent a year studying at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark as part of their Bachelor's degree program. Furthermore, MacKenzie completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in 2023.
