Philip Westrich

Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Persistent Systems, LLC

Philip Westrich started their work experience in 2014 as a Software Developer at Tennessee Technological University, where they developed mobile applications and occasionally worked on 3D visualizations and simulations using Unity3D. Philip also served as a Teaching Assistant during this time. In 2016, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the university until 2017.

In 2017, Philip joined Raytheon Technologies as a Senior Cyber Engineer, specializing in enterprise Linux kernel security products for mission-critical systems. Philip was responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of these products with customer end systems. Philip remained with Raytheon Technologies until 2023.

Starting in 2023, Philip has been working as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Persistent Systems, LLC.

Philip Westrich received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at Tennessee Technological University in 2016. Philip then completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Tennessee Technological University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Philip attended Midway High School from 2008 to 2012.
