Matthew P. Kerle

Matthew P. Kerle is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at SmartRent since January 2020, Matthew previously held positions including Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer within the same organization. As the Founder and CEO of Persona, Matthew has been instrumental in driving innovation since January 2015. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at Square, Weebly, and AgapeFest, along with IT management at Greenville University. Matthew began a career in technology with a focus on software development and support, including early roles as a Developer and Support Specialist. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer & Information Systems from Greenville University.
