Scott Collison

Scott Collison is the current President & CEO at Personify. Prior to this, they were the President & CEO at Anaconda from January 2017 to October 2019. Scott then became a Corporate Advisor & Board Member. Before that, they were the Vice President and General Manager at VMware from December 2013 to December 2015. Scott was also the Vice President, Platform Partners & Go to Market at Salesforce from August 2011 to December 2013. From June 2004 to March 2011, they were the President and Chief Executive Officer of Media at SourceForge. Scott was also the Director Platform Strategy Group at Microsoft Corporation from April 2001 to June 2004 and the Vice President of Marketing at OpenText from February 1999 to March 2001. Scott's early career includes being the Director of Marketing and Business Development at PayPal from January 1998 to December 1999 and a Consultant at Jupiter Media Metrix from October 1995 to December 1997.

Scott Collison studied German and Classics (Ancient Greek) as an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin. Scott then went on to earn their M.A. in German Language and Literature from University of California, Berkeley, followed by their Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology & German from University of California, Berkeley. Scott also studied at The University of Freiburg and University of Basel.
