Adam Hasham

Adam Hasham has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked as part of the design team for TV Video Cards at ATi. Adam then moved on to Genesis Microchip and Gennum, where they served as a Microchip Designer for HDTV. In 2008, they joined The Bank of Nova Scotia Asia Limited as an Account Manager in Corporate Banking and later became the Manager of Global Risk Management in Corporate Credit, specializing in the energy sector.

In 2013, Hasham founded their own startup called Hurrier, which was later acquired by foodora. Adam was then promoted to the role of Chief Product Officer at foodora, where they scaled intelligent dispatching technology globally and managed a team of Product Managers and UX professionals.

Hasham joined Amazon in 2017 as a Principal Product Manager (Technical), where they led the development of Alexa Conversations, an AI-based approach to dialog management. Adam was promoted to the role of Group Product Manager at Coinbase in 2021, where they led the Staking organization and worked on yield-generating products for crypto assets.

Most recently, in 2023, Hasham joined Personio as the Head of Product.

Adam Hasham attended the University of Waterloo from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering. Adam later pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance at Queen's University from 2006 to 2007. In 2010, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
