Javier Bel

Javier Bel has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Javier is currently a Lead Software Engineer at Personio, where they are responsible for leading software engineering projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Twilio Inc., contributing to the development of various cloud-native distributed architecture projects. Javier also gained experience at ING as a Platform Developer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on test automation and continuous integration. Before joining ING, they worked as a freelance Software Engineer and Developer, specializing in banking projects and continuous delivery processes. Javier also has a background in JEE development, having worked as a Senior J2EE Developer at Asaitec Soluciones Informaticas and as a Software Engineer at INECO-TIFSA. In their early career, Javier worked at VASS as a Principal Consultant and Team Leader, and at FatWire Software as part of their Professional Services team.

Javier Bel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2005. Additionally, they pursued further studies at the University of Bergen (UiB) in 2004-2005, specializing in Computer Engineering. In 2012, Javier obtained the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle.
