Luis Cláudio Pereira Gaino

Luis Cláudio Pereira Gaino has a strong background in various leadership roles within the chemical industry. Luis Cláudio started their career as a Business Area Manager at Wacker Química do Brasil S.A. in 1992. Luis Cláudio then moved on to Copenor, where they served as a Commercial Manager for over 17 years, overseeing Sales and Supply Chain operations. In 2010, they joined OQ Chemicals as the Mercosur Manager before transitioning to Perstorp Group in 2011. At Perstorp, they held roles such as Sales Vice President for Latin America, Vice President of Business Development, and Vice President of the BU Formates Head. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Strategic segment - Advanced Materials and as a Board Member at Perstorp Quimica do Brazil. Throughout their career, Luis has demonstrated a strong ability to identify new business opportunities, drive sales, and develop strategic segments within the chemical industry.

Luis Cláudio Pereira Gaino completed their Graduation in Chemical Engineering from Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz in 1987. Luis Cláudio then pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 1990 to 1992. Also, they obtained an MBA in Business Strategy from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1999 to 2001.
