Scott Wilson founded Persyst in 1987. He has published peer-reviewed papers in the fields of chemistry, physics and computer science, and he has been the principal investigator on six Small Business Innovation Research grants received by Persyst. Inventions include a novel neural network models, time domain analysis methods and the PressOn™ EEG electrode.
In 1981 Scott graduated from UCSD at the top of his physics class with high departmental honors and a minor in mathematics. During this time he started, recruited and coached UCSD’s Ultimate Frisbee team. While working at the Rockwell Science Center as a computational physicist in 1985 he received his Master in Science from UCLA in Computer Science with a specialization in artificial intelligence and expert systems. Scott is an avid scuba diver, surfer and adventurer.
