Jane Peter

Jane Peter has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Interim Chief People Officer at Perth Airport. Prior to that, they served as the Director of the Executive Board at Asherah Foundation, which focuses on providing scholarships and support for women in higher education. Jane was also a Committee Member at Beauty Point Public School OOSH, overseeing the running of their Out of School Hours Program. Jane Peter is the Founder, Futurist, and Director of Matters Most, where they work with individuals and organizations on transformation and change. Jane was an Associate Director at Growth Wave Pty Ltd, working as a consultant and executive leadership coach. Previously, at Optus, they held the role of Senior Director Leadership, Capability and Experience, responsible for driving a purpose-led culture and growing capability. Jane also worked as a People and Capability Consultant at BCG Digital Ventures, developing Learning and Development strategies. Additionally, they have been involved in mentoring and leadership programs, including being a Mentor at the HCL Women's Leadership Program and Chair of ASX's Our Women's Network. Prior to that, they held various roles at RBS, including Strategic Advisor for Bank-Wide Sales & Service Transformation and Head of Customer Experience Strategy and Execution. Jane Peter's experience revolves around people and organizational transformation, leadership development, and creating inclusive cultures.

Jane Peter attended Southern Cross University from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Educational Multimedia with a focus on Interactive Learning. Jane also completed a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Interactive Technology from the same university, starting in 1997 and finishing in 1999.

Jane Peter has also obtained several certifications. In November 2022, they completed the CEW Leaders Program offered by Chief Executive Women. Additionally, they were a finalist for the Excellence Awards in 2021 for both the Best Capability Building Program and the Best Blended Learning Solution. These awards were presented by the Australian Institute of Training & Development - AITD.
