Erin Ashoka is a Partnership Manager at PERTS. Prior to their current position, they served as a Data and Implementation Specialist at the Bank Street College of Education, where they coached teacher teams in 10 schools in Yonkers Public Schools to use improvement science methodologies to improve math outcomes for 6th-8th grade students. Erin also facilitated professional learning sessions for middle school teachers and developed and implemented tools (e.g. coaching logs, feedback forms, analysis of student-level data) to determine the impact of professional learning and coaching partnerships between the Education Center and public school districts. In their role as Data and Analytics Manager, they led a team of 6 analysts to share learnings and best practices across the Education Center. Erin has also written proposals for foundation-based funding and has helped to secure over $11.7 million in funding. Prior to their work at the Bank Street College of Education, they served as a 7/8 Grade Math Teacher at the ROOSEVELT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Erin Ashoka has a Master of Arts in Education Policy from Teachers College of Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Wake Forest University.
