Kathy Bretz

Kathy Bretz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kathy started their career in 1994 as an Information Specialist at Nielsen/IRI. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Shelter Manager at EBSPCA/EBHS, where they led cross-functional operations and developed tools to monitor shelter animals.

In 2006, Kathy joined Pet Food Express as a Store Employee and later took on the role of Store Manager, implementing community marketing strategies and exceeding sales goals. Kathy then became an Area Sales Manager, leading team development initiatives and driving regional sales growth. Kathy continued to progress within the company, eventually becoming a District Manager, responsible for overseeing 60 retail stores and ensuring exceptional customer service.

In 2021, Kathy joined Block by Block as an Operations Manager, where they managed a team of employees and was responsible for hiring and separations. More recently, in 2022, they returned to Pet Food Express, first as a Store Inventory Project Manager and later as the Director of Retail Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Throughout their career, Kathy has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, exceptional customer relations, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals.

Kathy Bretz holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government/Environmental Science from Wright State University. No specific start or end years were provided for their education.
