Scrum Master at Petal

Alexandre Laforest has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2004, they worked as a Tester at Electronic Arts. From 2005 to 2010, they held multiple roles at Objectif Lune Inc., including Technical Trainer/Writer and Programmer. At Justice Canada, they served as an Analyst, focusing on Legal Dualism & Socio-Cultural Issues, and also worked as a Moodlemaster, implementing and maintaining a Moodle website for training purposes. At Progiweb Inc., they worked as a Programmer-analyst, engaging in full stack web development and providing customer support. Alexandre then joined Coopérative Bellevèdre communication as a Web Developer with responsibilities in developing websites and managing domains and hosting. In 2019, they started working at Logibec, initially as a Technical Writer and later transitioning to the role of Scrum Master. Currently, they hold the position of Scrum Master at Petal, starting in 2022.

Alexandre Laforest began their education journey in 1998 at Université de Montréal, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree in the field of Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Alexandre completed this program in 2001. In 2003, Alexandre attended Collège du Vieux-Montréal, focusing on Computer Sciences, and obtained a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in this field in 2004. Additionally, they earned several certifications related to Scrum, including Professional Scrum Master II in October 2022, Professional Scrum Master I in September 2021, and Professional Scrum Product Owner I in July 2021.
