Ricardo R. Rincón

Ricardo R. Rincón has a diverse work experience, beginning with an internship at Corporación Digitel in 2012. Ricardo R. then worked as a Support Engineer at Sixbell from June 2014 to June 2016, where they developed and supported IVR and chatbot flows for inbound and outbound campaigns, including designing self-service flows for scheduling hospital appointments.

From June 2016 to September 2018, Ricardo worked as a Software Engineer at Sixbell, where they designed and implemented software components for the Contact Center offering, including building a voice-bot utilizing Watson Assistant AI.

Following this role, they joined Vacasa as a Software Engineer in January 2019 and contributed to multiple systems, using Typescript on Node.js, Angular, and React. Ricardo R. re-architected and maintained a data crawling and comparison system, as well as rebuilt the user-facing guest portal website with React to improve the user experience and reduce technical debt.

In August 2022, Ricardo transitioned to Limber as a Software Engineer, aiming to improve development processes and scalability. Ricardo R. proposed and implemented feature flags, standardizations, and architectural changes using AWS EventBridge. Additionally, Ricardo worked on the backend, frontend, and mobile bases of code and transitioned from JavaScript to Typescript for increased code robustness and fewer errors.

Most recently, Ricardo will be starting a role as a Software Engineer at Petal in January 2023.

Ricardo R. Rincón has a background in telecommunications engineering. Ricardo R. obtained their Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad de Chile in 2015 and also holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta, which they completed from 2007 to 2013.
