Shane Black has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as an On Ice Official for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 2010, they transitioned to sales, working as a Sales Executive and later as a Senior Sales Executive/Team Lead at Marcus Evans. From 2012 to 2014, Shane worked at LivingSocial as an Account Executive and then as a Senior Account Executive.
In 2014, they joined SourceKnowledge, an AdTech startup, where they began as an entry-level sales executive and eventually became a Sales Director, leading a team of AE's and Senior AE's. Shane was responsible for hiring, managing, and developing the sales team, as well as achieving personal revenue quotas.
Shane then moved on to Stradigi AI in 2019, taking on the role of Director of Business Development. After that, they joined Unito in 2020 as the Lead for Enterprise Sales.
In 2021, Shane became the Sales Director at KOHO, leading a team of Enterprise Account Executives and Business Development Representatives. Their responsibilities included creating the sales process, implementing frameworks and methodologies, and collaborating with other teams to create collateral and guides.
Most recently, in 2023, Shane joined Petal as the Director of Inside Sales.
Shane Black attended Concordia University from 2006 to 2010, studying marketing. In 2019, they briefly attended Cornell University, where they completed a program in High Performance Leadership.
